The International Holistic Ministry Vow:
"We vow to bring spiritual people together and to help each other in times of need.
We will not promote any particular traditional religious beliefs; rather we join together upholding the doctrine of "Love thy Neighbour", providing a helping hand and spiritual guidance when it is needed. (In the early days of America, for example, when a family barn burned down, it was the community that would come together to help the family rebuild).
In much the same way: When someone is in need of spiritual "rebuilding", when something is in need of spiritual protection, it is we who will gather to help. Not as charity, mind you, but rather amidst the feeling of Universal love and compassion.
Everyone needs help at some time in their life, whether in the form of encouragement, a kind word without any strings attached, perhaps a more substantial personal involvement, and sometimes guidance and support on a metaphysical and spiritual journey. Helping does not, in any way, require that the recipient of our help must join our group or conform to our beliefs.
By allowing our good actions to speak louder than words, we will make a positive difference.
As the highest goal of spirituality is self realization, we must also discover our direct connection to the Universal Intelligence within ourselves. This, in turn, will lead to an understanding that we are all part of the same Universal Energy. In helping others, we are truly helping ourselves.
We relish the opportunity to work with people and organisations to promote a metaphysical, spiritual and multi-faith way of life and being".
